At the beginning of May, our adventurous group of outreach youth workers from Finland participated in an Erasmus+ Study Visit organized in Innsbruck by Villa Elba, CUBIC, and POJAT. It was an intensive week dedicated to familiarizing ourselves with local youth work in Tirol and presenting Finnish outreach youth work.
During the visit, the participants engaged in discussions about various topics, concepts, and the special challenges of youth work. They exchanged ideas and shared good practices while reflecting on the diverse approaches to youth work in different locations. The group had the unique opportunity to visit several destinations in the region, including the office of JAM (Jugendarbeit Mobil) in Hall, Offene Jugendarbeit, and a school in Landeck, as well as the COME IN youth center in Wattens.
The week passed by swiftly, filled with both informative and enjoyable experiences. We eagerly look forward to hosting our Austrian colleagues in Finland in October!
