The European Steering Committee on Youth (CDEJ) has decided to prologue the Council of Europe’s Quality Label for Youth Centres to Villa Elba Youth Centre for 2022-2026.
The audit was conducted last spring 2023, and we have finally received confirmation of our continued recognition. Achieving the Quality Label requires meeting 15 criteria and several sub-points. During the next 5 years the center is expected to maintain the standards defined in the criteria. Meeting the Quality Label criteria has been an ambitious endeavor, and it obliges us to further develop and internationalize our activities.
Currently, there are 11 youth centers in Europe that have received the Quality Label. Villa Elba was awarded the label for the first time in 2014. In Finland, Youth Center Marttinen has also been granted the Quality Label.
