PROGRAMS FOR CHILDREN AND YOUTH

In our programs, we focus on topics close to us: nature, sea and adventure. Our professional staff will assist you in selecting the programs that best suit your group, make offers with program suggestions, and update them according to your wishes.

We operate in a bilingual area in three languages ​​(Finnish, Swedish & English). Villa Elba is a strongly internationally oriented youth center, so internationality is visible in our everyday life.

We pay attention to the mental and physical safety of our programs.

In our programs, we emphasize experiential and exploratory learning. The goal is to create joy and pleasure, feelings of success, empathy and co-operative ability, as well as group spirit in order to improve trust between the members of the group. The goal is also to strengthen the independence and self-awareness of the group and its members. The involvement of children and young people is important to us.

Villa Elba Youth Center is a non-discriminatory area. We want to challenge the adults who come with the groups to pay attention and to address possible situations of discrimination and bullying. Not only during our programs but incidents outside the guided programs.

Large groups are divided into smaller groups. Because of safety and smooth running of the program, the maximum size of the group in some programs (eg climbing, archery) may be small compared to other programs. The exact content of the programs varies according to the age of the group and the specific needs. Most of the programs are carried out outdoors, regardless of the weather.
