Team volunteering at Youth Centre Villa Elba is part of the European Solidarity Corps, an EU programme for young people aged 18–30. The aim of our volunteering team projects is to strengthen young people’s working-life skills and offer meaningful experiences in active citizenship. Through volunteering, participants have the opportunity to promote solidarity and contribute positively to the local community.
Villa Elba’s volunteering team projects are inclusive and open to all young people, including those who may need additional support. For this reason, dedicated support persons are available 24/7 to assist volunteers in both their work and everyday life. This allows us to provide a safe and encouraging environment for motivated young people who may require extra support to succeed in an international project. Each year, we organize 3–4 volunteering team projects in Youth Centre Villa Elba.
Our volunteering team projects are open to young people aged 18–30 who are interested in volunteering. There are no requirements regarding language skills or educational background — motivation and a genuine desire to make a positive difference are all you need!
As a volunteer, you will receive full board and pocket money throughout the project. Your travel costs are covered, and you will be insured for the entire duration of your volunteering period. Taking part in the project offers valuable learning experiences that help you to:
• show solidarity and contribute to the development of local communities
• develop practical working-life skills
• explore different cultures
• broaden your worldview
• strengthen your language skills
We contact only applicants coming through a sending organization. If you are a young person interested in volunteering, please contact a sending organization in your region. To apply you need to prepare a CV and motivation letter.
In these blogs our previous volunteers share their honest reflections and experiences.
