Volunteers tasks:
During Elf Around volunteers will experience the true magic of Christmas by being actively involved in various activities such as painting wooden elves and other Christmas decorations, organizing activities for the Elf Path, and acting as an actual elf for children and families.
Accommodation and food:
Volunteers live in cottages at Villa Elba in shared rooms. Volunteers get lunch on working days in Villa Elba or at schools and food money to buy groceries for other meals of the day.
Working hours:
Approx. 35 hours /week. Working days are usually from Monday to Friday between 8-15, but sometimes working hours can be in evenings or at weekends.
Pocket money:
The pocket money is 7 € / day which will be paid in parts in cash during the project.
Travel costs:
Volunteer’s travel costs to and from the project location are reimbursed based on the travel distance between volunteer’s home and the project venue. The distance is calculated using the official EU distance calculator, and this determines how much travel support you can receive
Why participate:
Volunteering helps young people to broaden their perspective on the world and develop their multicultural skills. It helps them improve their language abilities, gain confidence in different situations, and build valuable skills related to working life, teamwork, and living abroad.
