The award was presented at a festive ceremony held at the City Hall on Friday, September 12, 2025. The City of Kokkola grants medals of honor as recognition for meritorious and long-term work for the benefit of the city. In Silvander’s case, the recognition highlights in particular her 25 years of service as CEO of Villa Elba.
