International Club

International Club is a club where young people have the opportunity to learn about new people and cultures, broaden their world view and explore the various opportunities for internationalization. During the club, young people can design and implement their own projects either in Finland or abroad.

What is the IClub?

The IClub is a group of young people who meet once a month at Villa Elba to:

learn about different cultures and global issues
Grow their horizons
plan and take part in international projects
grow confidence, skills, and independence
Hang out and meet new people from Finland and abroad

Meetings include both daytime activities and overnight stays, making the club experience more exciting and social.

There are two groups in the club:

The younger club is for 13-15 year old members
The older club is for 16-17 year old members

Each club is supported by Villa Elba staff and has their own youth leaders that come with loads of personal experience since they were previous club members themselves. The club language is Englishbut there is absolutely no need to be fluent! It’s a safe space to learn and practice.

What we do?

As a member of the IClub, you can:

share your own culture and learn from others
learn about culture and global issues in fun and interactive ways, such as cooking, games, and group activities
take an active role in planning real projects that interest you, like Erasmus+ youth exchanges
try new things in a supportive space
meet loads of new people from around Europe

You will learn by doing, together with others who are also curious and motivated.
